Following a sell-out event last year; the Technology in the Tropics Conference returns for 2017! Proudly hosted by the Queensland Society for Information Technology in EducationQSITE (Far North Queensland Chapter), it once again promises to be a not to be missed professional development opportunity for FNQ educators. This pupil free day program will provide vital information on current Technology usage in schools and provide stimulating workshops presented by a talented range of speakers. The new Digital Syllabus will again be highlighted. New technologies and methodologies displayed.

Presentations and workshops from local and national presenters will cover a range of relevant topics including:

  • Digital Technologies Curriculum

  • Makerspace
  • Entrepreneurship

Costs: (All registration charges are inclusive of GST)

* QSITE Members:  $110 (Max. of 3 delegates per Institutional membership @ member rates)     

* Non-QSITE Members:  $130
