Teachers and technology leaders seeking resources, skills and extra support with the implementation of the Australian Curriculum.
The following workshops will be run concurrently:
Experience drone technology first hand and learn how it can be mapped in the curriculum.
Schools that send 3 or more teachers they will receive a free ‘Tello’ drone.
Scratch Beyond the Basics…Using Scratch Extensions with Makey Makey, Microbits and EV3s.
Schools that send 1 teacher will receive a MakeyMakey or Micro:bit.
Spheros, EV3s and Blue Bots learn how to integrate these devices into the curriculum.
Schools that send 3 or more teachers they will receive a ‘Sphero’ device to takeaway.
Makerspace How-To. This workshop will focus on the different components of a Makerspace, possible projects and the use of tools such as soldering and multimeters. Schools that send 1 teacher will receive a MakeyMakey or Arduino.
Registrations are free… however, for your school to receive the ‘gift’ (stated above) you must meet the attendance requirements for the session that you have nominated to attend.
Please note that 48 hours notice is required for registration cancellations.
